Photography is fun, exciting, versatile, and the creativity, subjects, locations, and styles are limitless. I always have a camera with me. I love to capture what presents itself in nature as the light and weather change. I love to capture special moments of emotion as a bride and groom share their vows and celebrate their new life together. I love teaching others how to not only use their camera, but to use it creatively. I love capturing milestones in the people's lives. I love photographing variety because it inspires me, keeps me fresh, challenges me, and helps me to life more vividly.

Years in the outdoor industry, teaching, coaching, and the customer service industry have taught me to adapt and adjust as needed. In music and theater, "the show must go on." In addition to adapting on the fly, I prioritize real moments over stiff posing. I will give simple direction, then let your day unfold, from the quiet vows to the laughing in between.
Adventurous
Alongside photography, I spent years as a teacher, coach, wilderness leader, and guide. I know how to read weather, pace a hike, and keep a day relaxed, so you can stay present while I handle the details. We can experience calm even in wild and unpredictable places.
You will get local knowledge of trails, lakes, viewpoints, open roads, seasonal differences. My time working in customer service and outdoor, wilderness jobs has taught me to plan, and it has taught me to plan for the unexpected whether it snows, gets smoked out, or schedules change.

You are uniquely you, and in your portrait session I focus on photographing you in an authentic, confident, and personal way that reflects your personality. Family sessions are relaxed, playful, and centered on real connection rather than stiff posing. Whether we’re in the Alabama Hills below Mt. Whitney, aspens of Hope Valley, along the Lake Tahoe shoreline, or in the sunset light of the Eastern Sierra, the focus is always on natural moments and genuine interaction.

Landscape & Nature
The Eastern Sierra has been a lifelong inspiration for my photography and my connection to the outdoors. From alpine lakes and rugged peaks to desert storms, fall aspens, and remote backcountry landscapes, my work focuses on the light, atmosphere, and emotion that make these places unforgettable. While much of my work is rooted in Mammoth Lakes, Yosemite, Mono Lake, Tahoe, and Hope Valley, it also extends across the country and worldwide. I’m especially drawn to fleeting moments—early morning alpenglow, shifting weather, fog, and the quiet details that often go unnoticed in wild places.
Events & Sports
Working throughout the Eastern Sierra, Lake Tahoe, Carson Valley, and surrounding areas, I create images that capture both the overall atmosphere and the smaller candid moments that often become the most memorable. My style blends documentary storytelling with thoughtful composition, keeping events natural, engaging, and visually cohesive. From community events and nonprofit gatherings to corporate functions, live performances, sports, tournaments, celebrations, and outdoor festivals, I focus on documenting real interactions and moments as they naturally unfold.

With branding and real estate photography, I work with businesses, creatives, and entrepreneurs to tell their story through clean, intentional imagery that connects with their audience. I also photograph homes, vacation rentals, and architectural spaces with a focus on light, detail, and atmosphere. Working throughout the Eastern Sierra, Lake Tahoe, Carson Valley, Reno, and surrounding areas, sessions are tailored to each client and may include interiors, exteriors, lifestyle branding, staff/team portraits, architectural details, and marketing content for websites, social media, and promotional use.
